Global Key Account Manager

MASCOT is an international workwear manufacturer with customers worldwide. To maintain our professional approach towards large international end-user companies, requiring high-quality Personal Protective Equipment, we are looking to expand our team with a new Global Key Account Manager - GKAM. The role will require broad experience within industries where certified protective clothing is a requirement like the offshore wind segment.

The job

You will work with sales projects for Global Key Account customers. You will independently manage, coordinate, and follow up on projects with Global Key Accounts, active predominantly in industries where certified protective clothing is a requirement. Your main task will be to develop such projects, ensure active projects are running smoothly, and meeting agreed upon targets for quality, time, and financials.

You will be a part of a team of 5 colleagues and will report directly to our GKAM Director.

As you will be working primarily on-site from our headquarters in Pårup near Silkeborg, we expect you to live within a one-hour driving distance.

Tasks

Your primary responsibilities will be:

  • Ensure the timely delivery of GKAM customers to distributors during project execution and provide an effective and persistent follow-up. This will be done independently and in close cooperation with the internal and external sales organisation.
  • Broad contact with: GKAM customers on many organisational levels, international MASCOT distributors, as well as MASCOT colleagues worldwide.
  • Ensuring that Global Key Accounts are always in the pipeline by organising, implementing, and coordinating outreach sales to international customers within your portfolio, some new but with focus on the expansion or “farming” of existing accounts.
  • The implementation and expansion of agreements for the sale of MASCOT workwear to large-scale industries and groups globally.
  • Budgeting and responsibility for own Global Account Management customers and projects in collaboration with the GKAM Director.
  • Participating in relevant international trade fairs.

Your profile

  • Relevant education at a Bachelor level (Technical or commercial).
  • Experience as a Project Manager or in Export Sales with project management demands.
  • Sales experience within the industry for certified protective clothing would be a plus.
  • Min. 5 years of experience with international project sales, preferably to key accounts customers (KAM).
  • Experience with negotiations and quotations as well as tenders and contracts.
  • Negotiation proficiency level in spoken and written Danish and English. Other languages would be a plus.
  • The role will involve some international travel – around 20 overnight stays per year.
  • You have a driving license and a car.
  • Competent user of Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. SAP, ERP and CRM knowledge would be an advantage.
