Area Sales Manager
Capital Region (Southern Finland) | Approx. 30 travel days/year
Are you passionate about field sales and ready to take the lead in growing a strong international brand in Southern Finland? At MASCOT®, we’re expanding – and we’re looking for an Area Sales Manager who’s ready to drive growth, build strong relationships, and make a real impact. This role is based in the Capital Region and covers Southern Finland. The position is new.
As our new Sales Manager, your mission is twofold: find new workwear and safety footwear users for our distributors (60%) and develop our distributor network (40%) in your sales area. All sales of MASCOT products are always made via our distribution network.
You’ll allocate your time actively visiting companies with a need for workwear and safety footwear, presenting MASCOT’s high-quality products, and finding the best solutions for both end users and our distributors. You’ll also play a key role in implementing shop-in-shop concepts, product training, participating in trade fairs, and providing valuable market feedback to HQ.
We’re looking for someone who brings energy, independence, and structure to their work. You’ve got solid B2B sales experience – ideally 5+ years – and are experienced in working with or through distributors. You also have experience with workwear, safety footwear, or PPE. You enjoy building long-term relationships and take the initiative in driving success.
Requirements:
• Fluency in Finnish (native level) and good understanding of English
• 5+ years of B2B field sales experience
• Understanding that sales is done in the field, not in the office
• Experience working with or through distributors
• Knowledge of workwear, safety footwear, or PPE
• Structured, active working style, which is also reflected in our CRM
• Ability to work independently and establish a home office when needed
• Willingness to travel approximately 30 days per year
