Finance and Customer Service Manager in Hanoi, Vietnam

About the job
You will be leading a highly skilled team of dedicated employees at our office in Hanoi, where your primary role will be to lead and develop the finance and customer service processes and teams. We have 10 dedicated and skilled colleagues in our Finance Team and 11 equally skilled and dedicated colleagues in our Customer Service Team, who will be reporting to this role. We expect you to be passionate about people and process development in cooperation with your counterparts located in Denmark. You will cooperate closely with the Customer Service Manager in Denmark regarding customer projects, processes, campaigns etc. You will report to our Group CFO who is based in Denmark.

Your task:
You will be responsible for ensuring high quality delivery on these tasks:


  • Employee appraisal talks and salary revisions
  • Balancing and accrual
  • VAT
  • Debtors
  • Creditors
  • Budget
  • Back-up for the finance functions in Denmark
  • Ad hoc tasks
  • Cooperation with the International Chief Accountant, based in Denmark

Customer Service:

  • Employee appraisal talks and salary revisions
  • Delivering best-in-business customer service and support for our distributors and salespeople in all our markets
  • Entering sales orders in SAP
  • Handling claims and returns
  • Product guidance
  • Following up on orders
  • Supporting online portals
  • Back-up for the Customer Service functions in Denmark
  • Ad hoc tasks
  • Cooperation with the Danish customer service manager

Professional skills:
You must have at least 5 years of management experience in an international finance function, perhaps even abroad. Your educational background could be a master’s degree in Finance (eg. cand.merc.aud. or an HD-R).
You have a hands-on attitude and work ethic. You are a visible and assertive manager with a talent for spotting and working with each team member’s individual strengths and development areas.

Personal skills:
It is important that you’re a team player, have a strong work ethic and ensure that deadlines are met. You like to work in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment where you maintain the overview, even with many ongoing tasks, and finish the tasks in a proper manner. We prefer candidates with a stable CV and who are living in or willing to move to Hanoi, Vietnam. You speak and write Danish and English on a native level.
