When the very best standard solutions are not enough, MASCOT's Special Projects department offers customers the option to choose customised workwear solutions instead. Customised solutions is a rapidly growing area, and so we are looking to appoint an organised and detail-oriented project manager who has plenty of drive and can take responsibility to guide some of these customer projects through to their conclusion.
As our new project manager, you will be part of a dynamic department in an international environment of skilled and committed colleagues who all support each other, and where commitment, professionalism and innovation are a matter of course in all projects.
Premium individualised workwear solutions
Although MASCOT has one of the most attractive assortments in the industry, with a large stock of standard products, for some customers, this is not always enough. That is why we offer everything from customised standard products to completely new designs and product types, allowing us to be our customers' complete workwear supplier. These kinds of projects generally come from our sales organisation across all our markets, and so the job is therefore an exciting role in which you pursue project management in an international and multicultural environment.
Successfully coordinating product development for individual customers requires customer understanding, organisational skills and attention to detail. A great attitude, excellent communication skills and a thorough understanding of different cultures, as well as the ability to maintain momentum across multiple tasks simultaneously, are all equally important.

Your motivation
You are motivated by being part of the sales process and ensuring satisfied customers, and you are driven by a desire to make sure all the many details in a project are right, so the customer gets an optimal solution. You are successful when your projects are completed as planned. That being said, success is also when you discover that the conditions required for a successful outcome for both the customer and MASCOT are unavailable, and you are still able to adjust the project accordingly and on time.
Who are you?
You have a commercial or technical educational background. We imagine you have project management experience from the textile industry or another manufacturing area. You have advanced project management skills, both in terms of your communication and structure. You have a flair for business and you are adaptable.
You are analytically strong and have a flair for both numbers and ERP systems (SAP knowledge is an advantage). You master Dutch and speak and write English to a high level. A good command of other languages is also advantageous. You have a strong and consistent CV.
As a person, you are persistent and dedicated, and you approach your tasks with the utmost professionalism. You are also highly organised, which helps you to understand complex situations and come up with good solutions. You have a keen eye for detail and you are able to meet deadlines. You are outgoing and enjoy presenting your ideas to others. And with your high drive, infectious energy and great attitude, you make customers and colleagues want to work with you.
