Global Key Account Manager with focus on protective clothing

MASCOT is an international workwear manufacturer with customers worldwide. To maintain our professional approach towards large international end-user companies, requiring high-quality Personal Protective Equipment, we are looking to expand our team with a new Global Key Account Manager (GKAM), with broad experience within industries where certified protective clothing is a requirement e.g. the offshore Wind segment.

The job

As our new GKAM you will independently manage, coordinate, and follow up projects with Global Key Accounts active predominantly in industries where certified protective clothing is a requirement. Your main task will be to develop such projects, and ensure active key account projects run smoothly, meeting agreed targets for quality, time, and financials. 

You will be a part of a team of 5 colleagues and report directly to our GKAM Director.

As you will be working primarily on-site from our headquarters in Pårup near Silkeborg, we expect you to live within a one-hour driving distance. 

Tasks

As Global Key Account Manager, your primarily responsibility will be:

  • Broad contact with GKAM customers on many organisational levels, international MASCOT distributors, as well as MASCOT colleagues worldwide.
  • Ensuring that Global Key Accounts are always in the pipeline by organising, implementing, and coordinating outreach sales to international customers within your portfolio.
  • The implementation of new agreements for the sale of MASCOT workwear to large-scale industry and groups Globally.
  • Independently and in close cooperation with the internal and external sales organisation, ensure a timely delivery of GKAM customers to distributors during order execution and providing an effective and persistent after sales follow-up.
  • Budgeting/responsibility for own Global Account Management customers in collaboration with the GKAM Director.
  • Participating in relevant international trade fairs.

Your profile

  • Relevant education at Bachelor level. (Technical or commercial)
  • Sales experience within the industry or with certified protective clothing 
  • Experience as Project Manager or similar role.
  • Min. 5 years of experience in export sales preferably to key accounts (KAM) internationally.
  • Experience in negotiation and quotations as well as in tenders and contracts.
  • Negotiation proficiency level in spoken and written Danish and English.
  • Professional level in spoken and written in German or French and other languages would be a plus.
  • Accustomed to international travel – with approximately 20-30 overnight stays per year.
  • You have a driving license and a car.
  • Competent user of Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. SAP, ERP and CRM knowledge would be an advantage.
